Sometimes you just need a hug. Ask for one. Give one. It really does make you feel better. This is my Mom and me on Thanksgiving. I'm so grateful I have my Mom to hug. Here's an aside. Sometimes I have to write down chores for my daughter to do. Yes, actually write them down, because she's 17, and well, understandably, she forgets. So sometimes, on her "to do" list, after clean your room, clean your bathroom, vacuum, feed the animals,....I write give me a hug. Then out of the blue I get a hug from my daughter. Makes my day.
