Notes From The Country

Meanwhile - back at the ranch...

It was a balmy 30 plus degrees today. Started to take down Christmas decorations, mailed out some napkins from my shop, journeyed to Whole Foods and stocked up on all kinds of goodness. Made kale chips, Roasted Carrot-ginger soup and simmered chicken and broccoli for dinner...and walked 10 minutes on the treadmill. It's a start. Just got back from San Francisco where we spent post Christmas time with families and rang in the New Year. Working on some posts to share with you.

"Each New Year, we have before us a brand new book containing 365 blank pages. Let us fill them with all the forgotten things from last year—the words we forgot to say, the love we forgot to show, and the charity we forgot to offer.”
